Roscosmos cosmonaut Kononenko broke the record for being in space. Previous record belonged to Russian Gennady Padalka.
At the end of the annual expedition, scheduled for September 23, 2024, his total flight time will be 1,110 days. Earlier it became known that Kon onenko took Alexander Pushkin’s favorite story “The Captain’S Daughter” on his fifth flight to the ISS. The story is based on Pushkin's novel of the same name.
