Kikina and Fedyaev may not be given the title of Hero of Russia because of their flight on the Crew Dragon. This is due to the fact that flights on American ships are valued somewhat differently than flights on our Soyuz, said cosmonautics historian Alexander Zheleznyakov.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded test cosmonauts Denis Matveev and Alexander Korsakov the titles of Hero and Test Astronaut of Russia, respectively. The two astronauts are currently on a mission to the ISS.
