Philippe Douste-Blazy was robbed at his Parisian home, located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. Several luxury watches as well as jewelry and leather goods were stolen for a total loss estimated at 120,000 euros.

The former Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs between 2005 and 2007 filed a complaint at the time of the robbery. He filed a complaint on February 28, 2024, at 8:25 a.m., February 27, 2024.
