The bones of a young boy who disappeared in 2004 were found buried this Wednesday. The child's parents, interviewed as part of a rogatory hearing, were arrested and placed in police custody.
The discovery came after the filing of a complaint from a woman, the mother of the missing child, filed in January 2021. Faced with investigators, she declared that she regularly suffered domestic violence from her husband, adding that the latter had killed their little boy Virgile in 2004. A secret kept buried for more than 20 years.
