A man was killed Thursday in Haute-Corse during his arrest as part of a judicial investigation. The gendarme who fired the shot was placed in police custody.
The events took place around 6:00 a.m. in Poggio d'Oletta, a village located 20 km south of Bastia. An investigation was opened and entrusted to the services of the interdepartmental direction of the national police (DIPN) and the general inspection of the gendarmerie (IGGN)
