Microsoft and OpenAI catch government hackers using AI. They question ChatGPT about foreign secret services, write phishing emails or research satellite technology.
OpenAI has therefore removed accounts of hacker groups from China, Russia, North Korea and Iran. Microsoft: We simply do not want the actors we have identified to have access to this technology. But Microsoft also emphasized that it had not yet seen any new attacks using AI and has closed five hacker groups' accounts. Current AI is only partially more useful than traditional tools, OpenAI said.
