A 16-year-old teenager involved in an altercation between two groups of young people in Montpellier died Tuesday after being hit with a knife. Six people are in police custody, the prosecution said on Wednesday.
An investigation was opened for murder. Five people arrested by the police were placed in custody as well as a sixth who “spontaneously presented himself to the police during the night”, underlined the prosecution. The victim, aged 16, died on arrival at the hospital, according to the same source.
