Russian chemists have created a ceramic coating invisible to thermal imagers. The development can find application in astronautics, electronics and other fields.
The coating differs from analogues in its high strength and resistance to extreme temperatures. It has another potential application - cooling equipment in space, where there is no air and convection. The technology makes it possible to create a coating even on the surface of objects with complex shapes. The application method has already been tested in industrial production. The next stage is the transition to testing in real conditions and application on an industrial scale.
