The Jordanian national team (Al-Nashama) qualified for the Asian Cup final after defeating South Korea with two goals to nothing, for the first time in its history. The Nashama team dominated the match from the beginning, and succeeded in reaching the final stage in the continental championship.
“Play, Jordan” invaded social media platforms, and bloggers expressed their joy at this qualification, which brought joy to the hearts of all Jordanians. Jordan won, “meaning the Arabs won, meaning we won.”
