Si Jiahui is the only Chinese player to advance to the round of 2023 in the 16 World Snooker Championship. A total of 5 Chinese players competed in this year's World Championships.

Scarlett, McGill, Jack Jones and Hussein Wafi were eliminated in the first round of the World Championship. In the quarterfinals, Scarfa faced 1-year-old England veteran Milkins, who staged a comeback from trailing 8-47 to defeat Joe Perry 2-7.
