Rebecka Blomqvist's goal in the 58th minute decided the German Cup final between Wolfsburg and Freiburg in Cologne. Alexandra Popp made it 3–1 in the 84th minute and five minutes later Dominique Janssen made it 4–1 on penalties.
Wolfsburg has won the cup ten times, a record that the club is alone in. The match attracted 44,808 spectators, which is also a new attendance record for the women's cup final.
