Esperance of Tunisia defeated its compatriot and host Etoile du Sahel 2-0, today, Saturday, in the fifth round of the third group of the African Football Champions League. Esperance, which repeated its victory in the first leg with the same result, raised its score to eight points in second place, one point behind Angola's Petro Atletico, who is in first place.
At the end of the group stage, Esperance will meet Al Hilal of Sudan, on the 2nd of next March.
