Wang Qiang wins first Winter Games gold medal for Chongqing team. Wang Qiang has achieved the top eight in the cross-country skiing individual sprint competition at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
He is also the winner of three gold medals in the men's double pursuit, 15km, and 50km collective start in the "14th Winter" qualifying competition. He won the individual sprint silver medal at the World Cross-Country Skiing "Super Bowl" Sprint Grand Prix. He was the first Chinese athlete to stand on the World Cup podium.
