Snezhana Trofimets became the first athlete in Russian history to win gold medals at both the summer and winter Spartakiads. Nikolai Olyunin won gold in snowboarding on the eve of the 10th anniversary of his silver finish at the Sochi Olympics.
The last gold of the competition was won by the women's hockey team of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Moscow team was the winner, managing to retain the leading position in the number of highest-quality awards on the last day.
