Lennard Kämna has left the intensive care unit in Tenerife. The 27-year-old German was injured in a traffic accident last Wednesday.
He suffered a severe chest trauma, rib fractures and a bruised lung. He has already won stages in the three major tours Tour de France, Giro d'Italia and Vuelta. He thanked everyone for the support after his serious accident in the training camp. The former junior world champion was supposed to ride in the overall classification from May 4th.
