The World Swimming Championships in Doha ended with the Chinese swimming team achieving its best record in the past 30 years. The Chinese team topped the total medal list with 23 golds, including 9 golds and 4 silvers in diving and 7 in synchronized swimming.
As Tang Qianting won the silver medal in the women's 50-meter breaststroke final with a time of 29.51 seconds and set a new Asian record, the Chinese team's results were finally settled at 7 golds.
