The Prosecutor's Office requests four years and nine months in prison for Ancelotti for defrauding one million euros with image rights. The Madrid Provincial prosecutor's Office has requested four years in prison.
In order to avoid taxation on the income from said image rights, the coach resorted to a "complex" and "confusing" network of trusts and companies filed to channel collection. It states that Anceloti "simulated" the transfer of his image rights to entities "lacking real activity" that were domiciled outside of Spain.
