The Prosecutor's Office appeals the sentence against Dani Alves to increase his sentence for rape. Alves was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for raping a 23-year-old girl in the bathrooms of the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona on the night of December 30, 2022.
The Public prosecutor's Office will ask the court to withdraw the mitigating mitigation of reparation for the damage that it added because the accused deposited 150,000 euros in compensation before the trial. The money was delivered by the former footballer after receiving it from Neymar's father since he has his accounts blocked in Brazil.
