Red Bull's Max Verstappen won the Spanish Grand Prix at Montmeló. The Dutchman was warned three times for exceeding the limits of the track.

But he ignored the warnings and set a record in one of the three sectors. He now leads the World Championship by 53 points from teammate Checo Pérez. Fernando Alonso is third, 71 points behind VerStappen. The next race is at Silverstone in 2022, but it seems unlikely that he will lose the title.
