The number of ticket-holding spectators at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony is approximately 320,000. Tens of thousands of athletes will arrive via boat across the Seine.
The area within a 150-kilometer radius around Paris will close its airspace from 7:00 to midnight on the night of the opening ceremony on July 26. Operations at Charles de Gaulle Airport, Orly Airport, Le Bourget Airport and Beauvais Airport will be affected. There is no specific terrorist threat to the Paris Olympics, Interior Minister Darmanin said.
