The national table tennis women's team defeated the Japanese team 3:2 at the Busan World Table Tennis Championships to achieve its sixth consecutive championship in this event. This is also the first time that the Chinese women’s team has won the World Table tennis Championships.
The Chinese team will compete with the French team for the championship in the men's team finals on the 25th. The team will strive for the 11th consecutive championship. The day of the competition coincided with the Lantern Festival. This championship is also a (holiday) gift to the people across the country.
