Shin Hiejima is the oldest member of the Japanese men's basketball team. He helped Japan qualify for the Olympics on his own for the first time in 48 years.
He is currently working with his club Utsunomiya Brex to improve his accuracy. He hopes to be selected to represent Japan again and win his first victory at the Paris Olympics. The role model was Yuta Tabuse, the first Japanese NBA player, who has served as a role model for him.
