The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) announced at the end of March that they will allow Russian and Belarusian players under neutral flags in international competitions. At the same time as Sörling pushed through the issue in the ITTF, she sits on the board of the Swedish Olympic Committee, which has clearly been against participation.
"All people who have different assignments can end up in conflict sometimes and it's important to focus on what function you are speaking in," says Sörlings.
