Düsseldorf public prosecutor's office is investigating former boxing world champion Felix Sturm. There is a suspicion that the 45-year-old and his physiotherapist have violated the anti-doping law.
Sturm was seen in an Instagram photo in January 2023 that showed him during an infusion. The alternative practitioner who performed Sturm's infusion told the ARD doping editorial team that Sturm had received 250 milliliters of saline solution plus vitamin C. The Association of German Professional Boxers has not subjected itself to the code of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)
