Sumo Spring Tournament New Ozeki Kotonowaka faces Atami Fuji on the first day. The Japan Sumo Association held a planning meeting on the 8th at the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium in Naniwa Ward, Osaka.
New ozeki will play against Atamifuji, a 21-year-old maegashira who participated in the championship battle at last year's Autumn and Kyushu tournaments. Yokozuna Terunofuji will compete against Nishikigi, who returned to Komusubi, and against Ura on the second day.
