Antoine Dupont made his debut for the French rugby sevens team at the Vancouver tournament. The 27-year-old Stade Toulousain player scored three tries in six matches.
The Blues won the bronze medal, beating the United States 42 to 12. Dupont was named the best player in the world of rugby union in 2021 by World Rugby. The French team will aim for gold during the next stage of the world rugbySevens circuit in Los Angeles from March 1 to 3.
