Evgeny Semenenko won the Spartakiad of the strongest in Magnitogorsk. The skater beat Mark Kondratyuk, who jumped one quadruple more.

Vladislav Dikidzhi made a mistake in the quad lutz, but retained the bronze. Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin confidently took first place in ice dancing. The girls' short program was won by Adelia Petrosyan, the only athlete to perform a triple Axel.
