The Swedish Olympic Committee is investigating the possibility of arranging the Winter Olympics in 2030. Falun is the intended competition venue for cross-country skiing, ski jumping and Nordic combined.
Östersund will be the place where biathlon is decided in that case, while Åre gets the alpine competitions. And, as SVT Sport previously reported, SOK has been in Latvia for a meeting as they are up to take care of bobsleigh, luge and skeleton. But now SVt Sport can reveal that the skating competitions are also highly relevant to be held in another country.
