Ukrainian Volodymyr Yermakov, 17, was killed at Oberhausen main train station. Three other teenagers were seriously injured in the attack.
Two male suspects have been arrested by police in connection with the incident. The murder squad that was set up arrested two male suspects, a 15-year-old German-Turkish man from Gelsenkirchen and a 14-year old German-Greek man from Herne. The Essen public prosecutor's office applied for an arrest warrant for manslaughter and grievous bodily harm.
