Neymar Sr. issued a harsh 11-word statement after refusing to pay the one million euro bail for his compatriot Dani Alves.
Alves was convicted of rape and sentenced to 4 and a half years in prison. The former Barcelona, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain star is expected to leave prison today, after he finally succeeded in raising money for his release after only one month behind bars. Neymar's father quickly shut down claims that he was willing to help Alves and pay bail.
