Manchester City has stormed into the final of the Champions League. The team led by German captain Ilkay Gündogan defeated Spanish football record champions Real Madrid 4-0 (2-0) in front of their home crowd.
They will now play against Inter Milan for the title in Europe's premier football league in Istanbul on 10 June. For some, it was "footballing perfection, a museum piece", others saw "football from another planet": international media celebrate Manchester City's Champions League performance.
