Luis Márquez, midfielder of Betis during the nineties (1989-2000), died this Monday in Seville at the age of 51 as a result of cancer. Known as 'Schuster' for his resemblance to the German international in his time in the lower echelons of Bético, he was champion of the Children's Cup in 1987 and youth in 1990.
In his nine seasons at Betis, he played 202 official matches -166 in the League, 32 in the Cup and 2 in the UEFA Cup- and scored 15 goals.
