Some people suffered severe frostbite. The wild card game was played on the same day that the Buffalo Bills were scheduled to host the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, the game was postponed by a day because a snowstorm in New York dropped up to 2 feet (0.61 meters) of snow, making travel to the game too dangerous. The Chiefs won the game against the Miami Dolphins and won the Super Bowl again in February.
