Japan national soccer team “will not play” match against North Korea in World Cup Asian qualifiers. FIFA announced on its official website on the 23rd that the match would not be held because there is not enough time on the schedule to postpone it.
Future actions and the handling of the match will be discussed at FIFA's Disciplinary Committee. Japan, who is in "Group B" in the World Cup Asia 2nd qualifying round, will play against Myanmar on June 6th and Syria on June 11th.
