Japan Clay Shooting Association dismisses nine directors over confusion over corporate support funds. 15 of the regular members of the local association, more than one-fifth of the total, requested the dismissal of all 20 directors.
At the general meeting, representatives from 47 prefectures voted for confidence or no confidence in each director. The dismissal of nine directors who belonged to a group that opposed the management of the current chairman was approved by a majority vote. The nine members include directors who are in charge of coaching athletes aiming to participate in the Paris Games.
