Inauguration of the Olympic village five months before the 2024 Olympics. The village covers 53 hectares, or 70 football fields, straddling the communes of Saint-Ouen and Saint-Denis.

Built in seven years, the village brings together some 82 buildings, 3,000 apartments and 7,200 rooms on a site which extends over 52 hectares. The plan of the district thus allows the air and freshness brought by the Seine to circulate better between the buildings.. Green spaces on public roads, green roofs, insulation of buildings and a geothermal energy network must make it possible to maintain the interior temperature of homes below 28 degrees Celsius during heatwaves.
