Hans von Uthmann is the new chairman of the Swedish Olympic Committee. The 64-year-old replaces Mats Årjes who chose to resign as a result of allegations of sexual assault.
Per Palmström, 56, received 18 out of 40 votes in the secret ballot. He also tried to become chairman in 2018 but lost to MatsÅrJes. "Hans is the one who is best placed to take us to the goal that we now want to get to," says the Swedish Ski Association's vice president Stefan Bessman.
