Guinea and DR Congo face each other in the quarter-final of the African Cup of Nations. Kaba Diawara and Sébastien Desabre are both former players of the Syli national team.
Desabre has been in charge of the Leopards since 2021. Guinea beat Equatorial Guinea 1-0 in the round of 16 on January 28, while DR Congo beat Egypt 2-1 on the same day, to reach the last eight of the competition. The match will take place at the Ebimpé stadium in Abidjan on February 2.
