Barcelona face the possibility of falling into the "death" group in the Champions League next season, for the second time despite being crowned champions of the Spanish league. The Spanish newspaper "Mundodeportivo" said that the features of the next season's edition 2023-2024 have become clearer with the end of most leagues in the old European continent.
Barcelona failed to get past the group stage in the last two editions, so it was eliminated from the 2021-2022 edition after finishing third in Group E.
