The 30-year-old midfielder will appeal this sanction, one of his relatives assured AFP. Juventus, with which he is linked until the summer of 2026, can now terminate their contract, due to this suspension, in particular in order to save on salary. He was kidnapped in March 2022 for three hours by three childhood friends and two old acquaintances from his neighborhood in Roissy-en-Brie, near Paris.
