Lars Stindl will end his professional football career in the summer. The 35-year-old played for Borussia Mönchengladbach from 2015 to 2023.
He won the Confed Cup with the DFB in 2017 and scored the winning goal in the final against Chile. He played 376 Bundesliga games, 29 appearances in the Champions League and eleven games in the D FB jersey. He missed the 2018 World Cup due to an injury. He went through several youth seasons at the Wildpark starting in 2000.
