DFB women: Svenja Huth ends career in the national team. Huth had already celebrated some successes with the DFB's U-teams.
The outside player made her debut in the senior national team on October 26, 2011 against Sweden. At the 2022 European Championship final, Huth led the D FB team onto the field as captain, representing the injured Alexandra Popp. The 33-year-old from VfL Wolfsburg gave birth to their son Emil last September.
