Dani Alves pays bail of one million euros and will be released from prison today on provisional release. The Barcelona Court agreed last Wednesday to release the player provisionally on bail with the withdrawal of his two passports while the appeals against the sentence are processed.
The former Brazilian soccer player was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for sexual assault. Dani Alves fails to raise a million in three days and will spend the weekend in jail. The player will be provisionally released in the next few hours until the sentence is final.
