Cubs pitcher Shota Imanaga participated in his second actual pitching practice at the camp being held in Mesa, Arizona. He faced a total of 11 batters and had four hits, including a straight first pitch caught by the first batter and a big hit that went over the outfield fence.
Teammate Seiya Suzuki also made light adjustments by playing catch. He is scheduled to play in an exhibition game against the Royals in Surprise, Arizona on the 26th. Imanaga: "The ball that I tried to count was the right time for the batter to hit it, and I think just knowing that is a good thing"
