OGC Nice, the last French representative in European Cups, was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Europa League Conference by FC Basel, who won 2-1 after extra time on Thursday at the Allianz Riviera in Nice. The blow is hard for the Red and Black who had drawn (2-2) in the first leg and who led until the 86th minute of the match, and a superb half-volley from Jean-Kevin Augustin.
Nice will face the Italians of Fiorentina in the semifinals of the Conference Europa League.
