CAF has given its agreement in principle for the next African Cup to be held in July-August 2025 in Morocco. A way of not hindering the first 32-team Club World Cup scheduled for June 2025.
CAF president Patrice Motsepe refused to give a date for the CAN postponed after having initially been scheduled for January-February 2025. Its holding in summer will take place while the International Federation (Fifa) organizes its first major 32- team Club Cup from June 15 to July 13.
