Sébastien Haller scored twice as Ivory Coast beat Nigeria 2-1 in the CAN 2024 final. Haller was injured at the start of the tournament and missed the semi-final against DR Congo.
The 24-year-old was diagnosed with testicular cancer in July 2022 and forced to withdraw from the field for treatment. He returned to the field six months later, but never recovered his performance. He has now been chomping at the bit at Borussia Dortmund and has scored four goals in six appearances.
