Artur Jorge has died at the age of 78 after a long illness. He has coached Portugal, Switzerland – and Paris St.
Germain. With FC Porto he won the European Cup against Bayern in 1987. From November 2014 to October 2015 he was active as a coach at MC Alger in Algeria; this was also his last stop before he retired from football. He was also active abroad, winning titles in Portugal, France and Russia (CSKA Moscow) He also made a name for himself as a national coach: he coached Portugal.
