Arsenal FC beat Liverpool FC 3-1 (1-1) in the top Premier League game. It was the Reds' first defeat in the league since the last-minute defeat against Tottenham in September.

Manchester City still have two games in hand, and after Liverpool's stumble could soon be five points behind. The real winner is City, Arsenal are now just two points closer to the leaders, but it sounds like it's not worth it. The title race will follow in March, when City visits Arsenal FC (March 9th) and then hosts Liverpool (March 30th)
