Anja Pärson is in the Champions of Champions 2024 after being asked every year since she left. But she refused to participate until ten years had passed since her career ended.
The 42-year-old ended her career in 2012 and says that she has been asked to participate in the program since then. "No excuse was found" says the Swedish tennis star, who was actually supposed to be in the Master of Masters already last year, but was stopped by an injury. The master of masters premieres on SVT February 4.
